These terms govern your use of https://flarenames.com and any domain name you purchase from FlareNames. By using the site or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Who we are

FlareNames operates as a premium domain brokerage at https://flarenames.com, headquartered at 2226 Eastlake Ave E #1345, Seattle, WA 98102, United States.

2. Domain listings and pricing

Prices shown on domain listings are in US dollars and may change without notice until a purchase is completed. Availability is not guaranteed — a domain may be pulled from the catalog, sold, or repriced at any time before checkout is finalized.

All descriptions, valuation estimates, and comparable-sales data are provided for informational purposes. They are not appraisals and do not constitute legal or financial advice.

3. How a purchase works

  1. You submit an offer or proceed to checkout on a listing.
  2. Payment for transactions over $1,000 is processed via Escrow.com, an ICANN-accredited escrow service.
  3. Once escrow confirms funds, we initiate the transfer at the registrar of record.
  4. You receive the authorization code and step-by-step transfer instructions.
  5. Upon successful transfer, escrow releases funds to us and the sale is final.

Most transfers complete within 1-3 business days. Certain TLDs (.io, .ai, and a few others) may require up to 5 business days due to registry processing.

4. Payment plans

For domains priced above $5,000 we may offer 3, 6, or 12-month installment plans. Installments are processed through our escrow partner. You may use the domain while paying, but full ownership transfers only after the final payment clears. Missed payments beyond a 10-day cure period may result in cancellation and forfeiture of amounts paid, less reasonable administrative fees.

5. Refunds

Because domain names are unique digital assets, all sales are final once the transfer has been initiated at the registrar. Before transfer initiation, you may cancel for a full refund less escrow processing fees. Disputes about domain authenticity or encumbrance are handled under Escrow.com's dispute procedures.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false or misleading information at checkout;
  • Use the site to violate any law or any third party's rights, including trademarks;
  • Scrape, resell, or systematically access our listings without written permission;
  • Interfere with the operation of the site or attempt to bypass security.

7. Intellectual property

The FlareNames name, logo, site design, and original written content are ours. Listed domain names themselves are transferred to you upon completion of a valid purchase — ownership rights pass via the registrar, not via these terms.

8. Warranties and limitations

We warrant that we have the right to transfer any domain we list at the time of sale. Beyond that, the site and its content are provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a domain purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that domain. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost opportunities.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FlareNames harmless from any claim arising out of your use of a domain you purchased from us, including trademark, copyright, or unfair-competition claims brought by third parties.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
